Welcome to Melange. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Melange website, mobile apps, web studio, and API (together, the "Service"), operated by Melange Inc. ("Melange," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, to use Melange. If you use the Service on behalf of a company or organization, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Please notify us immediately at support@melange.app if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Your content
You keep full ownership of the photos, music, and other materials you upload ("Your Content") and of the videos you create with Melange. To operate the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to provide the Service to you. This license ends when you delete Your Content or your account, except where copies are retained for legal or backup purposes for a limited time. We do not use Your Content to train our AI models without your explicit consent.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to upload or create content that:
infringes the copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights of anyone else
contains illegal, violent, hateful, or sexually explicit material
depicts or sexualizes minors in any way
impersonates another person or is intended to deceive or defraud
contains malware or attempts to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service
We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.
Music and third-party materials
Tracks from the Melange music library are licensed for use within videos you create with the Service, according to the license terms shown in the app. If you upload your own music, you are responsible for having the rights to use it.
